GroupSplit is a bill-splitting calculator designed to work 100% offline. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to your information when you use the app.
GroupSplit does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, sign-in, or internet connection to function. Bill amounts, number of people, tip and tax percentages, and every other value you enter stay only on your own device, in memory, for as long as the app is open.
GroupSplit does not request any special device permissions (camera, contacts, location, storage, microphone, etc.). The only system features it uses are the standard clipboard, when you tap "Copy," and the standard share sheet, when you tap "Share" — both are initiated only by your direct action and both work entirely on-device.
GroupSplit does not integrate any third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms, or tracking libraries. No data is sold, shared, or transferred to any third party, because no data ever leaves your device in the first place.
GroupSplit does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, because the app collects no information from any user at all.
Since no data is collected or stored outside your device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Any values you type into GroupSplit are cleared when you close the app or tap "Reset."
If this privacy policy is ever updated, the new version will be posted on this page along with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
